Our Chapter

The Augusta-Fort Gordon Chapter of AFCEA has assisted in bridging government requirements and industry capabilities while aggressively promoting professional development in the area of command, control, communications, and computers. AFCEA has a long-standing tradition of providing opportunities to exchange ideas about communications-electronics. The chapter sponsors a technical exhibition in conjunction with the annual Signal Symposium. A luncheon program features key speakers from DOD and industry. The chapter provides tuition assistance for enlisted soldiers and DA civilians, numerous science education awards and “Any School, USA” college scholarships. For $35 a year or $85 for three years, AFCEA membership brings numerous benefits including information on chapter events, admission to international conferences, and a subscription to Signal magazine. There are student 1 year membership rates available to Military members in their initial training, (this includes Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and Officer Basic Course (OBC).
